The Creators Club is home to some of the city’s most forward-thinking designers, developers, and purpose-led businesses. Take Inoya for example, a female-founded brand on a mission to revolutionise period care through non-toxic, innovative, and sustainable products.

Led by founder Helena Uhm, a Registered Nurse, Public Health Practitioner, and mum, Inoya recently celebrated a major milestone with its first retail partnership, now stocking their products on the shelf at Foodworks Graceville.

Each Inoya product is lab-tested for safety, made from body-safe, sustainable materials, and developed with full ingredient transparency. But the brand goes even further, working with social enterprises to produce reusable pads ethically, and supporting women from vulnerable communities with meaningful work, giveback initiatives, and education to those who need it most.

Helena joined The Creators Program – the flagship initiative of The Forefront – to scale her impact-driven venture and sharpen her strategy for growth. The program supports established creative and tech-led businesses with mentoring, workshops, and access to a collaborative community, helping them grow customer bases, build investor readiness, and enter new markets.

“It has been great being part of the Creators Club – the mentorship, accountability, and shared energy in the room with other e-commerce creators has helped motivate me even further.”

“It’s a really supportive community and a great space for creative founders to work, connect, and share learnings.”

Inoya’s products are now available at Foodworks Graceville, a locally-loved grocer known for spotlighting independent brands with purpose.

“Getting Inoya into a retail store isn’t just about being stocked – it’s about being seen. It’s a huge moment for our visibility and one step further along our go to market journey” Helena shares.

Helena’s journey is a perfect example of why The Forefront was built: to support passionate founders turning creative, purpose-led ideas into thriving businesses.

“Inoya embodies what The Forefront is all about,” says Forefront Operations Manager Mo Trivedi.

“Helena is building an e-commerce business from Brisbane that’s not just innovative, but meaningful – and we’re proud to support her as she grows her impact.”
